I have never left a negative review before, but after days of thinking it over, I feel that I must. The description of the book was well written, which is what swayed me to purchase this book rather than the other fertility books I was considering. That was the best part of the book. The grammar is extremely poor, causing me to wonder if someone other than the author edited it before publishing. There are no sources cited—“a report says†or “a doctor said†is the extent of citing sources. I honestly had a difficult time reading the book and eventually just thumbed through the last 20 or 30 pages. Also, there was no information on the author. There was no “About the Author†anywhere in the book. Who is Anna C. Brooke and why did she decide to write this book? That is information that gives the author credibility to the reader.If the author revised the book, after having an editor go through it with a fine-toothed comb, and cited sources, this book would be worth reading.
